The creative territory of the night

Noctambulosis is the artistic universe of Vasco Hernández: a project born from the night, from attentive listening and from the need to turn lived experience into music.

For years, caregiving and night work altered the rhythm of everyday life. The hours normally associated with rest became a space of vigilance, silence and introspection. In that setting, musical ideas began to appear with a different intensity. What could have remained merely an adverse circumstance gradually became a creative language.

Music, memory and transformation

The works connected with Noctambulosis are rooted in flamenco guitar, yet they are not confined by a single category. They explore solitude, tenderness, uncertainty, resilience and the mysterious clarity that sometimes arrives while the world is asleep.

The project does not romanticise exhaustion or difficulty. Its centre is transformation: the possibility of giving artistic form to experience, of finding beauty without disguising fragility, and of continuing to create when life changes its rules.

A contemporary flamenco vision

In Noctambulosis, tradition becomes a living point of departure. The guitar carries the memory of flamenco while moving towards an intimate and contemporary sound world. Composition, interpretation and visual identity form part of the same narrative.

This universe is still evolving through recordings, concerts and new artistic material.
